Timon & Pumbaa : Horatio
Horatio and Timon & Pumbaa are both support characters for the protagonist. They are both selfless in the end with Horatio wishing to die with his friend and Timon and Pumbaa leaving their paradise to help Simba. Both parties lift their friends out of depression in a time of extreme need and help their growths in overcoming sorrow. The difference lies in that Horatio never wavers, he stays by Hamlet’s side no matter what. In comparison Pumbaa is the greatness that Horatio has while Timon is a more human aspect that only wants things to stay the same. Ultimately though Pumbaa’s personality wins.
